My Product Review Of Amazon Kindle Fire

Building on the technology behind its Kindle eReaders, Amazon recently launched a tablet: the Kindle Fire. With a 7-inch color screen and support for streaming video over your Wi-Fi network, the Fire is ready to entertain you. It supports digital books, audio books, music, and other content. And, Amazon provides free online storage for any content you buy from it. You can also store photos, music, and more on the Fire's 8GB of built-in storage. Built-in speakers let you share the fun with your friends, and a stereo audio jack lets you play in your favorite pair of headphones.

Of course, any tablet worth its salt can browse the Internet, and the Fire is no exception. In fact, it has a special Internet browser, Amazon Silk, which uses cloud computing to provide extra-fast Web browsing. The Fire supports charging from a wall outlet (via an adapter) or your computer (via a USB cable that can also transfer files from your computer). The battery provides 7.5 hours of video playback and eight hours of reading (when the wireless settings are turned off), making it an excellent travel companion.

Kindle Fire is priced around $199.00.
